The reason I chose this one is that it’s the only handle lock with three ways to unlock: a pin pad, fingerprint, or physical key. The others rely strictly on electronic fingerprint and/or pin pad, which can be problematic if the batteries die—you’re out of luck. But this one has a backup physical key and a power source to power up the lock, which I appreciate. Electronics can fail, but physical keys don’t. However, having an electronic pin pad and/or fingerprint option is very convenient.

Easy to install, a little confusing with the directions for programming (no real directions for the app). But, worth the price, especially with the $10 off coupon. Great investment, especially when you have a roommate always yelling at you because it is your fault she can't find her key. It's also fun to keep changing her access to drive her crazy.

The installation itself was easy. The setup process though could have been explained better in the manual. Once I got past the setup process, it seems to be pretty reliable. It would have been nice to have more fingerprints added. There are a few occasions where the fingerprint isn't recognized but those failures are few. It isn't perfect but does receive 5 stars for being highly functional in keeping the closet secure.

I am upgrading the rating to 5 vs the original 4 stars because of the solid product support.
This is a good purchase for the price, I like how sleek and polished it looks. I would have given it 5 stars on the first 2 locks I ordered but then I ordered one more for our guest bedroom and that is when I faced some unexpected issues the locking mechanism was not working and I had to do a lot of hit and trial to get it to work (I am happy that I didn't have to return it and I managed to get it to work). This brought to question the sturdiness of this product in my mind but I would still give it a 4/5 stars as it solves the purpose of having lockable in-house doors. Won't recommend this for use on front / back doors but then again that is not the main use case!
